JourneyCare Hospice is looking for an Assocaite Medical Director to join our rapidly growing team.
EARN up to $200K/YR!HOURS:
Monday-Friday 8AM-4:
30PM.
LOCATION:
Barrington, IL
Qualifications:
Medical Expertise:
Medical degree and board certification in Hospice and Palliative Medicine.
Licensing:
Active medical license in Illinois.
Clinical
Experience:
Proven track record in providing hospice and palliative care, with a focus on inpatient settings.
Communication Skills:
Strong verbal and written communication skills, coupled with the ability to collaborate effectively in a multidisciplinary team.
Continuous Learning:
Commitment to ongoing professional development and staying abreast of the latest advancements in hospice and palliative care.
This position requires a minimum of 8 education hours.
All personnel must attend mandatory educational programs.

Direct Patient Care Excellence:
Provide hands-on, compassionate care in a dynamic 16-bed inpatient hospice facility.
Collaborative Patient Care Leadership:
Engage with the inpatient interdisciplinary team and home hospice teams to shape and optimize patient care strategies.
Quality Assurance:
Ensure the highest quality of care standards are met and exceeded within the inpatient hospice facility.
Community Engagement:
Foster relationships with existing and potential referral sources and the local medical community through impactful education on end-of-life care and symptom management.
