This employee is responsible for all aspects of enteral nutrition care for the home tube fed patient and other medical nutrition related activities.

Responsibilities:
o Recognize and respect patient rights during the provision of care or services and conducting business relationships with patient and the public in an ethical manner o Perform assessments/reassessments of each patient's care or service needs throughout the patient's contact with the organization including physical assessments, psychosocial assessments, functional assessments, and activity assessments as appropriate o Formulate, revise, and maintain enteral nutrition patient care plans based on physician orders and assessment findings including the identification of patient problems/needs, goals and actions, and interventions relating to the care or service provided o Monitor patient's response to the care or services provided, the actions or interventions taken, and the outcome of the care or service provided o Educate patients with relation to their enteral feeding to facilitate safe and effective use, as well as desired care, treatment, and service outcomes o Provide patient care, treatment, and service in a continuous and coordinated manner, in settings appropriate to meet patient needs o Responsible for community education regarding all aspects of medical nutrition services provided by company o Maintaining and managing a minimum monthly patient admits/census o Promote safe and effective patient and organizational environments and feeding equipment use o Participate in on-going education including in-services, training, and other activities to maintain and improve individual competence o Obtain, utilize, and update patient information in a confidential and secure manner for utilization in patient care applications o Recognize and implement infection control practices that reduce the risk of infections in patients and organizational staff o Drives to admit, deliver, and pick up such items as enteral formula, feeding pump(s), IV poles, related feeding supplies to patients' home or place of business o Records delivery information and tracks mileage o Listens to and resolves service complaints appropriate to scope of practice o Assists sales team in clinical presentations o Issues or obtains customer signature on admission, pickup, or delivery o May have to communicate, interact with, assess, and/or treat Secure Health Systems' patients/family members that may be:
o Infants (0 - 1 years of age) o Pediatrics (1 - 17 years of age) o Adults (18 - 64 years of age) o Seniors (65 years or greater) o Responsible for National On-Call o not to exceed 6 shifts per year o Read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals o Calculate figures and amounts such as commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume o Solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists o Interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form o Should have knowledge of word processing, spreadsheets, and e-mail communications Education and
Experience:
o Bachelor of Science in Nutrition and/or Dietetics, accredited by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics o Registered Dietitian/Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RD or RDN) o Licensed Dietitian for the geographical area where he/she manages patients (LD or LDN) o One or more years of RD/RDN experience preferred, but not required Physical Demands:

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
