Requires attention to detail with reading pick tickets and customer shipping instructions.
Experience working within a heavy process focused role.
Typical Responsibilities Work as part of the small team in a fast paced shipping department.
Process all pick slips to be packed for shipment on a daily basis.
Operation of material handling equipment to retrieve inventory to fill orders.
Pack outbound material in shipping cartons per Prospect Fastener packing standards and customer requirements as noted on the pick slips.
Maintenance of inventory through cycle counts.
General housekeeping of the Shipping area.
Adherence to workmanship standards and conduct codes.
Must be able to demonstrate the ability to achieve hourly production goals.
Skill Sets Desired Employee must demonstrate the ability to calculate simple math problems/situations and correctly count parts.
Employee must demonstrate the ability to safely and properly drive a forklift.
Employee must understand general warehouse safety guidelines.
