Operations ERP Specialist

Overview:
The Operations ERP Specialist will represent Synergy US Operations on the project team providing functional expertise and leadership to ensure a successful system upgrade.
The project will be part of the Project Management Office (PMO) governance structure.
The role will report to Mandy Lach with project direction from Brian OMahony.
The assignment is the final phase of the D365 upgrade and duration is expected to be 6-8 months.
Prior to project completion, Synergy HR will partner with the incumbent and manager on future role placement within the organization.
Responsibilities:
Possesses knowledge of a wide range of Operational functionality in a Microsoft AX application version and is able to evaluate and test the functionality of the new AX D365 application.
Works with cross-functional peers on the project team to meet all appropriate project milestones.
Is able to meet relevant deadlines as defined by the project leader to ensure the project is on pace.
Works with multiple departments in Operations to ensure all functionality of the new system is sufficient to perform their assigned duties including interface screens, reporting, queries and general tasks.
Validates user security and access to needed screens, queries and tasks and partners with global IT to assign security roles ensuring Operations Team has the appropriate access levels.
Performs system testing to ensure that Operations systems are functioning as needed for go live.
Creates training materials including work instructions, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for the multiple Operations Teams (Customer Service, Planning, Manufacturing, Shipping).
Trains the Operations groups on the functionality of the system with a focus on changes that will affect ways of working in the new system versus the existing DAX application while supporting business process alignments.
Acts as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for the Operations Teams for training departmental SMEs and after go-live support.
Supports the department and project team through the go-live stage and hyper-care phase.
Qualifications:
Bachelors Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Manufacturing or related field of study or 3
years of relevant Operations experience.
Expertise in D365 Microsoft AX system.
Demonstrated experience in project or program management.
Dynamic leader & strong team player collaborates well with others to solve problems and actively incorporates input from various stakeholders.
Strong analytical and strong problem-solving skills - communicates in a clear and succinct manner and effectively evaluates information & data to make decisions.
Excellent attention to detail, customer service, organizational and communication skills.
Computer skills with Microsoft Windows applications to include Word, Excel and Outlook.
Experience in the food or food ingredient manufacturing industry preferred.
